Over a decade in development, Brian first recorded Circling in the late 90s under his Supplement moniker and released it on the Full Time Help Wanted CD-R. It was called Sandpaper Saddle, and an edit of the outro of the track was called The Angels Sang. Revisited in 2004, it was renamed Circling, and up to this point remained unreleased. We unearthed it as an entirely new version for the “Both/And Sessions.” It’s a somber affair with crackling radio samples, subdued melodies, and clickity percussion. Out of all of our recent work, this track is most reminiscent of our former musical projects.
