Sometimes it’s nearly impossible to hide your influences, but when they come together, it’s hard to determine where one ends and another begins. Colorlove represents this kind of confluence. Brian worked out the initial rhythm, guitar, and vocal tracks in Chicago and then Bob added the searing breaks, low-end rumble, and additional guitar noise in NYC. As the track developed, it adopted a certain swagger. Colorlove keeps it's original 4/4 meter while adding a murky arpeggiated bass line and the essential shaker — holding it all together. But don’t be fooled. This one rocks. Hard.
