After a 10-year hiatus, we had been kicking around the idea of working on music together again, but the elusiveness of time and the considerable distance between Chicago and NYC were stumbling blocks. In early January of 2008 we put time and distance aside and worked on music together in Brian's Chicago studio. The result was a super rough version of this song. Through A Rebel Heart the first song we wrote, and completed together, and it’s got it all.
